NPR's Don Gonyea reports from Detroit on the first day of operation for the newly merged DaimlerChrysler Corporation. While many industry analysts are praising the merger, auto workers in Detroit are looking back with nostalgia on Chrysler's history as a pillar of the American automobile industry.
