Public Lacks Interest In Impeachment Hearings

NPR's Andy Bowers has a round up from around the country on public reaction to the Clinton impeachment hearing. Yesterday at an electronics store in California, none of the televisions were tuned to the hearings. College students in Austin and law students at Harvard tuned in the hearings, but many said they were disgusted with it. A woman at a nail salon in California watched part of the hearing, but says she would like the Congress to get on with the nation's business.
