From member station WVXU in Cincinnati, Steve Hirschberg reports that a public high school is trying to raise 12 million dollars from private sources to build a new arts and science wing. Past bond issues have failed, so the school's alumni association is asking its 17,000 graduates for donations. The plan is an ambitious part of a growing trend of using private money to fund public school programs.
