NPR''s Richard Harris reports on yesterday''s space shuttle launch. The shuttle carried retired Senator John Glenn back into space 36 years after he became the first American to orbit the Earth. The crew will perform more than 80 experiments during the nine-day mission...including observations on how Glenn''s 77-year-old body deals with weightlessness.
