Supreme Court To Hear Deportation Case

NPR''s Barbara Bradley reports on a case the Supreme Court will hear tomorrow that will test the boundaries of immigrant rights. It involves eight immigrants who were ordered to be deported in 1987, on the grounds that they were associated with a Palestinian terrorist organization. The Supreme Court will decide whether the immigrants had the right to challenge their deportation order in federal court. It will not decide whether the government attempt to deport them violated their 1st Amendment right to free speech.
