Aaron Spelling's Widow Selling Mansion For $150M
RENEE MONTAGNE, host:
And our last word in business today is, downsizing. Candy Spelling, the widow of Aaron Spelling, is selling her family mansion. Aaron Spelling produced TV hits like "Charlie's Angels", "Dynasty", "Beverly Hills 90210" and so he left behind a fortune. The four and a half acre property is in an exclusive part of Los Angeles and has so many rooms Mrs. Spelling says she can't even count them. It has the usual ultra rich luxuries: tennis court, spa, waterfall, gift wrapping room, bowling alley. The price she is asking is the most expensive property listing in the country, $150 million. Mrs. Spelling's relocating to a condo. A condo she bought last year for $47 million. And that's the business news on MORNING EDITION from NPR News. I'm Renee Montagne.
