Regulating The Airline Industry

NPR's Madeleine Brand reports that the Department of Transportation says that some airlines are using predatory pricing to drive up-start airlines out of business. And to help stop that practice, the DOT has said it will fine airlines who undercut the ticket prices of smaller airlines. Many big carriers worry that the DOT is on its way to re-regulating the airline industry.
