Fed May Lower Interest Rates

NPR's John Ydstie reports on Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan's latest testimony to the Senate Banking Committee. In yesterday's appearance, Greenspan reiterated his message that the long run of prosperity that the U.S. economy has enjoyed cannot continue with the current economic turmoil in other parts of the world. And he hinted the Fed may well lower interest rates.
