Reaching A Budget Agreement

NPR's Peter Kenyon reports that negotiators for the Clinton administration and the Republican Congress are getting closer to a budget agreement that will allow Congress to adjourn for the fall elections. Some major items were resolved late last night, including funding for agriculture and education. A comprehensive budget agreement could be reached by the end of this week.
