Host Alex Chadwick talks with Rick Bray, inventor of the TV Guardian, which filters most objectionable words and phrases out of pre-recorded broadcasts. The device works best with videotapes, and relies on closed captioning signals to detect the foul language. The TV Guardian mutes the offensive word and can be set to replace the word with a synonym.
