Hurricane Preparedness

NPR's Cheryl Devall reports from Wilmington, North Carolina, where experience from previous hurricanes helped emergency personnel carry out their duties with considerable success. The Federal Emergency Management Agency coordinated efforts among the Red Cross, National Guard, Salvation Army, as well as local groups.
