Plight Of Ethnic Albanians

NPR's Tom Gjelten reports on U.S. concern over conditions among ethnic Albanians in the Serbian province of Kosovo. Humanitarian aid workers say that a quarter of a million people have fled their homes and about 50-thousand of them are stranded on wooded hills and mountainsides with no shelter and very little food. They are fleeing from fighting between Serbian security forces and ethnic Albanian rebels.
