Patient Protection On Back Burner

NPR's Peter Kenyon reports that Senate Republicans and Democrats are blaming each other for the Senate's failure to vote on health care legislation, known as the patient protection bill, before adjourning today for the August recess. Such a vote won't take place until at least September, and that reduces the likelihood that any health care reform will pass this year.
