RENEE MONTAGNE, host:

Good morning. I'm Renee Montagne. Baseball card collectors could find some scoundrels in their packs this summer. No, we're not talking steroid users. The Topps Company is issuing a set of cards featuring the world's biggest hoaxes, hoodwinks and bamboozles. So in about every 12th set of trading cards, Bernard Madoff will pop up, or Mr. Ponzi himself, or the hijacker DB Cooper or the fake runaway bride. And, Steve, what'll you trade me for an A Rod?

Oh, it's MORNING EDITION.
