Boeing 737's Grounded

— NPR's Larry Abramson reports that the Federal Aviation Administration ordered hundreds of older Boeing 737's taken out of service yesterday, so they could be inspected for potentially dangerous flaws that have been found in the wiring of some older 737's. The wiring in question runs through the fuel tanks along the wings of the aircraft. The increased inspections were ordered after FAA inspectors found that vibrations had damaged the insulation in many of the first older 737's they examined last week.
