From Sunglasses To Sneakers

— NPR's Madeleine Brand reports that Oakley, a manufacturer of sunglasses, is now entering the sneaker industry in hopes of reviving sagging sales and capturing the lucrative youth market. Its first release - a black and yellow pinstriped kevlar sneaker with a motorcycle tire tread for a sole - is expected to make a distinct impression on the market.
