Frog Deformities

— Mary Losure (LOH-zhur) of Minnesota Public Radio reports that scientists trying to find the cause of deformities in Midwestern frogs are now focusing on chemical compounds known as `retinoids.' (RETT-ih-noydz). Retinoids are derivatives of Vitamin A and play a pivotal role in biological development.
