'Round The World Race

— NPR's Tom Goldman reports on the Whitbread 'Round the World' sailing race, whose 12 boats are on their seventh leg today, making their way up the Atlantic Coast from Fort Lauderdale toward Baltimore. Once they enter the Chesapeake Bay, their crews will be challenged by the shallow waters, tricky currents, and shifting winds.
