Democratic Senate Seat In Trouble

— NPR's Peter Kenyon reports on the Kentucky senator's race, a race that Republicans in Congress are watching very closely. After 22 years, Democratic senator Wendell Ford is stepping down. Two House members, Democrat Scott Baesler and Republican Jim Bunning, are vying for the seat. Baesler, however, is fighting a three-way primary contest, which gives Republicans hope for capturing both senate seats in what has traditionally been a Democratic stronghold.
