Drugs In Jails

— NPR's Larry Abramson reports a new government survey found that about half of all inmates in local jails used alcohol or drugs at the time of their crime. The survey also found that the number of women in jail is increasing and that nearly half of all women inmates reported they were physically or sexually assaulted at some point in their lives.
