Nyc Cops Arraigned

—NPR's Melissa Block reports on the indictments yesterday in the police brutality case of Abner Louima. Five New York City police officers were arraigned in a federal indictment yesterday. The men are accused of beating Louima, violating his civil rights, sexually assaulting him, and lying to cover up the incident. The new federal charges supersede the state investigation.
