Clinton On Republicans' Budget

— NPR's Elizabeth Arnold reports from Las Vegas on President Clinton's appearance at a union rally yesterday, where he criticized the budget proposal which the Republican-controlled Congress released this week. The Republican plan ignores the President's request for money to build more classrooms, hire more teachers, and allow people betweeen the ages of 55 and 64 to buy Medicare healthcare coverage.
