-- NPR's Larry Abramson concludes a weeklong series on bilingual education with a report on how schools deal with poverty, disabilities, and other special needs that some bilingual students bring to the classroom. Decisions about bilingual education are more complicated than simply which method of bilingual instruction to use and for how long. Schools must try to measure how students other skills relate to their language abilities.
