Texas Tobacco Settlement

— NPR's Debbie Elliott reports that Texas will likely announce tomorrow that it has reached a 15 billion dollar settlement with the tobacco industry over the public health costs of smoking related illnesses. The trial already has been postponed twice this week. Lawyers for the two sides are said to be very close to agreeing on final details of the settlement.
