1998 Election Apathy

— NPR's Elizabeth Arnold reports that Republicans and Democrats are searching for a way to excite voters for the 1998 elections. The strong economy has obscured any national political agenda, so politicians are looking for issues that will reach even contented citizens. Some are talking about tax cuts, others education.
