This Year In Congress

— NPR's Elizabeth Arnold reports that Congressional Republicans want to focus the new legislative session on tax cuts rather than the President's policy proposals. But Democrats suggests it will be hard to oppose ideas like funding thousands of new teachers. Only a few legislators from either party were willing to discuss the current scandal...and they only discussed it as a distraction, rather than considering the merits of the allegations against the President.
