Tobacco Hearings

— Host Bob Edwards talks with NPR's Elizabeth Arnold about today's tobacco hearings before the House Commerce Committee. The heads of major cigarette manufacturers are scheduled to appear. Tobacco companies and state attorneys general drafted a settlement last year, but Congress shows no sign of approving a deal soon.
