Entrepreneurs In Space

—NPR's Chris Arnold reports on the increasing commercial growth in the space industry. Small companies are investing in and carrying out projects that were once controlled by the large aerospace companies. Some reasons behind the growth are telecommunications deregulation and the end of the cold war...which made advanced satellite technology available to everyone. Analysts expect the space industry to generate revenues of 120-billion dollars by the year 2000.
