Twa-800 Wiring

—NPR's Steve Inskeep reports the federal investigators may have found a possible cause of the expolosion aboard TWA Flight 800 last year. They say that a malfunction of old electrical wiring may have been a contributing factor in the disaster. Now the National Transportation Safety Board is asking the airlines to look into updating the wiring on their aging planes. Experts say that would be a difficult task... there are approximately 150 miles of wires running through each jumbo jet.
