The Union Year In Review

— NPR's Don Gonyea reviews the good news and bad news from the Teamster's Union over the past 12 months. Ron Carey was re-elected to the Union's presidency, the Union prevailed in its strike with UPS, Carey's election win was overturned for illegal fundraising and misuse of funds, and Carey was barred from re-election. The new vote has been delayed until early next year... because of investigations into the campaign of James Hoffa, who finished a close second in the election. Analysts say right now, it's impossible to predict who the candidates will be, let alone who will be the next Teamster's president.
