Boeing Inspections

— NPR's Steve Inskeep reports that the Federal Aviation Administration is considering whether to order the inspection of some late model Boeing 737 aircraft, after rivets were discovered missing from the tail section of a 737 that crashed in Indonesia on December 19th. The rivets were missing from the leading edge of the tail horizontal stabilizer, a winglike structure that helps the plane fly level.
