Military Weapons Thefts

— NPR's Adam Hochberg reports from Raleigh, North Carolina, on the arrest yesterday of six Marines and seven civilians for allegedly stealing weapons from military bases and offering them for sale to federal agents. The arrests were the result of an 18-month undercover sting operation by the F-B-I and other federal agencies. Most of the weapons were taken from Camp Lejeune. They included machine guns, mortars, grenades, and rocket launchers.
