Rating Hospital Care

— NPR's Patricia Neighmond reports from Los Angeles on new evidence that having government and private agencies rate the quality of care at hospitals actually improves the treatment patients receive. The findings on such health care `report cards' are contained in a study published in today's Journal of the American Medical Association.
