B-2 Stealth Bomber's Future

—Host Bob Edwards talks to Mike O'Hanlon, a foreign policy fellow at the Brookings Institution, about the future of the long-range, B-2 Stealth bomber, which a Congressional subcommittee is considering this week. B-2's cost well over a billion dollars apiece, and are considered by critics to be obsolete in a military fleet increasingly dominated by shorter-range aircraft. While the B-2 does have support in Congress, the Defense Department has no room in its budget for additional purchases.
