— NPR's Peter Overby reports on the Senate testimony of Roger Tamraz, an oil financier who met with President Clinton in the White House last year after donating 300-thousand dollars to the Democratic election campaign. Tamraz was unapologetic, insisting there was nothing improper about his meetings with the President. Tamraz was promoting an oil pipeline that would carry oil from the Caspian Sea to world markets.
