Senate To Question Ickes

— NPR's Peter Overby reports that the Senate committee investigating fundraising during last year's election campaign will question former White House official Harold Ickes today and will also view videotapes of receptions hosted by President Clinton for contributors to the Democratic Party. Senate Governmental Affairs Committee Chairman, Fred Thompson, a Republican from Tennessee, is criticizing the White House for failing to disclose the existence of the videotapes and deliver them to the committee.
