Senate And Campaign Finance

— NPR's Elizabeth Arnold reports on political maneuvering in the Senate over the campaign finance reform bill, known as McCain-Feingold. The co-sponsors of the bill, John McCain (Republican of Arizona) and Russell Feingold (Democrat of Wisconsin) are trying to prevent an amendment by Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott from killing the legislation before they can bring it to the Senate floor for a vote.
