Three Arrested As Spies

— NPR's Chitra Ragavan reports federal authorities charged three people...including a husband and wife...with spying for various foreign governments over the past 20 years. Two of the three took civilian jobs with the military to gain access to secret documents. The FBI says the suspects met in college in the late 70's and describes all three as Communist sympathizers. Over the years, they apparently received only 40-thousand dollars for secrets sold to the East Germans.
