Ickes Testifies

— NPR's Peter Overby reports on the appearance of former Deputy White House Chief of Staff Harold Ickes before the Senate committee that's investigating allegations of illegal fundraising during last year's election campaign. Ickes ran the 1996 Clinton-Gore Reelection Campaign and he denied that the Clinton-Gore Campaign did anything illegal. Ickes defended Attorney General Janet Reno for her refusal, so far, to appoint an independent counsel.
