Tax Cut Negotiations

— NPR's Brian Naylor reports that despite their divisions, House Republicans are making progress in tax-cut negotiations with the Senate and the White House. The Senate is reported to have yielded to House pressure and dropped Medicare means testing. Now the negotiators must reconcile divergent views on the capital gains tax.
