Eu Approves Boeing/McDonnell Douglas Merger

— NPR's Edward Lifson reports the the European Union's approval of the merger of Boeing and McDonnell Douglas prevented a potential trade war with the U-S. Before the deal got a green light, the E-U demanded several concessions designed to maintain comeption between the new conglomerate and Airbus.
