Compromise Leads To Balanced Budget

— NPR's Mara Liasson reports that both President Clinton and Republican leaders in Congress are taking credit for the compromise tax and spending bills included in the balanced budget agreement. Because of the robust economy and rosy economic projections, most Americans won't be required to make sacrifices. In fact, almost everyone stands to benefit from the legislation.
