Legal Immigrant Fights Deportation

— NPR's Richard Gonzales reports on the case of a legal immigrant who's been in the U-S for 20 years...who's now fighting a deportation order. He's been convicted of several crimes in the U-S, ranging from drug use to petty theft, and is being deported under the anti-terrorism law Congress approved last year. The man committed the crimes before the law took effect, but the Immigration and Naturalization Service has decided that the law can be applied retroactively.
