Tax Bills Advance

— N-P-R's Elizabeth Arnold reports that tax bills have been passed by committees in the House and the Senate. Each contains a five hundred dollar per child tax credit and reductions in capital gains taxes. And each was passed over the objections of committee Democrats...firmly convincing them that they ARE the minority party in the Congress.
