—- NPR's Debbie Elliott reports from Jacksonville that a Florida jury has handed the tobacco industry a favorable verdict in a closely watched wrongful death suit. The family of Jean Connor, who died from lung cancer, sued RJ Reynolds for negligence, claiming RJR did not adequately warn her about the dangers of smoking. Yesterday, the jury ruled that RJR was not responsible for her death.
