NPR's Ted Clark reports on signs that Saddam Hussein is trying to forge a alliance with regional terrorist organizations to attack US interewt and those of its Arab allies. There are reports that Abu Nidal, once a master terrorist on the Palestinian fringe, has been given safe haven in Baghdad and Arab newspapers have reported that emissaries of Saddam Hussein have been talking about an alliance with groups as varried as Osama Ben Laden in Afghanistan and Islamic extremist groups such as Hamas and Islamic Jihad.
