Blair Cabinet Resignation

NPR's Michael Goldfarb reports from London that the resignation of two ministers has shaken the government of Prime Minister Tony Blair. Trade and Industry Minister Peter Mandelson stepped down after it was revealed he'd accepted a loan from a junior Treasury secretary whose business affairs he was investigating. The junior minister relinquished his post, as well. Observers say few people will regret the departure of Mandelson, a master of spin often referred to as "The Prince of Darkness."
