Balloon Trip Ends

The team of balloonists trying to become the first ever to fly around the world has called a halt to their trip today. Steve Fossett, Per Lindstrand, and Richard Branson left Marrakech, Morocco on December 18th. They crossed Algeria, Libya, Turkey and China...barely averting the air strikes in Iraq and avoiding a forced landing in the Himalayan Mountainrs. But early this morning, they slipped out of the jet stream as they attempted to cross the Pacific Ocean. Heidi Chang of Hawaii Public Radio reports on their landing in Hawaii.
