China & Taiwan

NPR's Ted Clark reports that the tense three-way relationship that has dominated Chinese, Taiwanese and US relations over the past couple of years has stabilized. Taiwan's recent elections indicated a more mature and restrained mood among Taiwanese, who no longer seem to be threatening to set up a state independent of China.
