Walter Mosley

text sizeAAA
November 9, 1998

Linda talks to Walter Mosley, author of the new novel Blue Light. Mosley is best known as a mystery writer and the creator of the character Easy Rawlins, but this new book is science fiction. Mosley says that in science fiction, the writer can create the world that he wants -- with a black woman President, for example -- and explore human relationships and philosophies within that created world, without having to deal with some of theproblems of the "real" world. Blue Light is published by Little Brown.
